Detachments deliver a darker vibe of indie-dance music that help set them apart from the rest of the pack. With obvious 70's post-punk influences (
Joy Division, New Order) their first single 'Circles' is an original fusion of the old, with the new - unique, reverb saturated vocal delivery, disco synth, and the trademark 'same beat throughout the entire song' drums. Initially 'Circles' sounds as though it's going nowhere, but wait until the 2:12 mark and you're in for something special.
