Boy Crisis, from Brooklyn, New York, are a
'weird pop' band in the same vein as
MGMT and
Empire Of The Sun. Initially their music didn't strike me as anything remarkable, it was different... quite fun, but came across as though they were
trying too hard to be 'alternative'. However, upon reading their bio I became a convert (oh... it's supposed to be
alllll about the music?) - Cut them some slack, the music is good, it just takes a little crafty convincing to realise it.
