I've been sitting on this one for a week or so... I wasn't entirely convinced to start with. But, this is a grower, so let it simmer for a while before you jump to any conclusions.
Fear Of Tigers is the alter-ego of Japanese / British producer Benjamin Barry. He creates a brand of dream-wave disco pop with ethereal soundscapes and house danceability. It's borderline cheesy in an 80's-movie-background-music kind of way, but retro is cool and disco is back!

What initially drew my attention to Fear Of Tigers is that he was giving away his debut album 'Cossus Snufsigalonica' for free. I always admire an artist who, despite producing 'should be signed to a major record label' quality music, are not too caught up in 'making it' to risk this kind of counter-logical investment.
