R&V 2009 - Fake Blood

Fake Blood is the 'Dark Knight of the dance music underworld. The mystery identity behind the music released under the pseudonym 'Fake Blood' has been the best kept secret since Bruce Wayne got carried away at a 'dress up as your favourite animal' party. However, earlier this year 'Fake Blood' made his debut press appearance for an interview (that somehow managed to slip under the radar with only 600 views) with 'Kitchen Sink Radio' providing tidbits of information that help piece the puzzle together.

Watch the interview here.

It is now accepted that 'Fake Blood' is Theo Keating, who formerly produced under the name 'Touche', was a member of British hip-hop/big beat band 'The Wiseguys', and is currently a member of electronic duo 'The Black Ghosts'.

'Fake Blood' first gained attention after producing and releasing a remix for his own project The Black Ghosts called 'Anyway you choose to give it', and since then has remixed Calvin Harris, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Little Boots, The Gossip, Armand Van Helden and more. His debut single was heretic club banger 'Mars', and earlier this year he released his first EP - 'Fix Your Accent'.

His unique style of production and his dedication to the art, rather than chasing fame and fortune has set Fake Blood apart as one of the leading pioneer's of dance music. Get a hold of the free downloads and do not even think about missing his set at Rhythm & Vines 2009.

And why not check out his other project while you're at it...
